coda's solo debut album to be released on May 3

As we previously announced, a new debut album tracer by coda of yogurtbox fame will be released on May 3. This album will be released as 'pay-what-you-want' and will be available right after the Noise Channel listening party. Noise Channel listeners will be the first to hear the album from start to finish and then download it immediately afterwards.

Be sure to join the party and get in on the chat with coda and the other listeners over at Arecibo Radio. Start time is 10PM Eastern, 7PM Pacific, 6AM Moscow time or May 4th 11AM JST. More details are revealed over at the Facebook event page.

Joshua Morse to release Waveform 3 in two weeks

Joshua Morse will release his new EP Waveform 3 in two weeks. This is the third release in a series of FM-based music, that Joshua started in 2007, and then followed up in 2011 through our friends at Pause Music. This time, Waveform 3 will consist of 5 songs, carefully composed to continue the legacy of its predecessors.

There is a special announcement that we would like to offer for all the fans! If Joshua's Facebook artist page reaches 700 likes, the album will be released absolutely for free. Otherwise, it will be available for $5 price. So, feel free to spread the word and give your support to Mr. Morse!

Manwe/SandS just shared the source of his submission for SOUNDSHOCK 2: FM FUNK TERRROR!!:

"This song utilizes AdLib sound chip and Advanced Gravis UltraSound card at the same time. Me and Tarh invented the trick that allows to use 14 bit samples in original Scream Tracker 3 (released in 1994 by Future Crew). This trick works only with Gravis UltraSound card. Sometimes (the probability is about 6%) the Gravis hardware channels goes out of sync and this trick doesn't works. So, I offer 96% 14-bit sound for you ;). I recommend to play this which has both (GF1+AdLib) chips on it's board. In case you have no real hardware use DOSbox for emulate DOS, GUS and AdLib.
